How can you tell if your nervous system is dysregulated and stuck in survival mode?
Here are a few signs and symptoms that might mean you are stuck in a stress response like fight or flight.
- You don’t feel safe in your body or your environment and you tend to sense danger when there is none.
- You feel overwhelmed.
- You have a hard time setting boundaries.
- You please others to avoid conflict and disappointment.
- You can’t seem to get anything done.
- You feel numb, tired and not connected to the present.
- You have chronic health issues.
- Maybe you have chronic fatigue, an autoimmune disorder like colitis, psoriasis.
