Please join us for this 3 day journey into the wonderful practice of restorative yoga. This practice, which was first created by Iyengar and later championed by Judith Lasater, is exceptional for the nervous system and especially for nervous system dysregulation.
Restorative yoga is slow, soothing and gentle. It is safe for all bodies. It is a wonderful practice to begin to offer to your students.
In this training we will discuss:
- history and lineage
- benefits of restorative yoga
- the nervous system and the relaxation response
- how energy flows in the body
- poses & mudras
- sound & silence
- adding in modalities such as reiki, massage into a class
- restorative movement and more!
